Open up GIMP. Choose your images. I chose: Image 1 Image 2 Image 3
Open up a new file in GIMP and make the width 600 and height 400. Resize your images to a smaller size to the fit the layout. Be careful not to make them blurry. Paste your first image and make it a permanent layer. To do that, double click on pasted layer in the layer dialog and change the name.

Repeat the process with the rest of your images. Arrange the images how you want them and blend. To do this select the area of which you'd like to blend. Then go to select, feather, type in 100, and click OK.

Then go to select, float, and delete the floating layer. Then use a brush of your choice to erase the hard edges of the blended image. Repeat the process with the rest of the images. You can then make your images different by changing the mode of each one. To do this, right click on the layer you which you change and select duplicate. Then go to mode and set the layer to the mode you desire.

Repeat the process with the rest of your images. Then flatten your image by going to image, flatten image. This is how it looks so far: Main Image Next is textures. I'm going to use a texture I made: Texture Paste the texture onto the layout and make it a permanent layout. Then change it's mode. You can even mess around with it's opacity. After that, you can flatten your image.

Next is the table. Create a new image making the width and height 800. Change the BG color to what you desire. It helps by color picking the layout. To make the table, use your select tool, and select part of the image until you get your width at 600.

Then fill in the selection with your desired color. After that click outside the selection with your selection tool to unselect the box. Paste your main layout image in the table and make it a permanent layer. It looks like this: Final Image You can add your title now and anything else now. You can also make a BG to go with the layout. To do this, select across the image.

Copy the file and paste it as a new image. Make the canvas width 1280 and the fill in the transparent area with the main BG color.
