Boredom got the best of me! So, now, Broken Desires will present a monthly contest. This contest will end on September 11. It will feature random question. You have to answer each question. The person who gets the most questions right, wins. If more than one person ties, then we'll have a faceoff.
Enter the Contest Ok, so I haven't been the best owner is the best couple of days. I'm being a bit slow on the reviews. I'm working on them though. Zim is doing the same. I added 1 uncoded layout of Anne Hathaway, 2 textures, and 4 signatures of Robin Hood. I'm working on some color schemes and signs. They'll be up on my next update. I have new affies as well. I have a lot of affies so I'm a bit stricter when choosing affies. Also, if you want to submit a review, you have a right to choose who you want to do it. Zim is a lot stricter than me. She literally does it for a living. I'm lenient but very observant. I tend to notice even the tiniest errors. Anyways, my friend called me today and told me she started college the same day as me at the same college as me. I think that's awesome. She's one of my best friends. I'm looking forward to school. Anything to get away from my house even for a little bit. I feel stranded. Also, I started reading Breaking Dawn. It's really good so far. I didn't realize how far I had read. I won't give anything away though. You'll have to read it for yourself. Heh. Nothing else has really happened since my last update. My life isn't exciting. Sorry about that. I wish I could tell you that a UFO landed in front of my house but then you might think I'm insane. Lol. However, I do have another picture of my love.

I LOVE that picture! The way he looks up is so hot! I think I'm obsessed. I probally am. I still blame it on my host. Lol.
| Hi! I'm really bored sitting here at 11:08 PM. I don't have anything new to add. However, I am working on a few wallpapers and icons. I should have them up next week. I also won't update tomorrow because I'm going out. I know I'll be missed even though I update almost every single day. Heh. I think you all should know that I love this layout. The reason I kept changing layouts so often was because I wanted something new. I think this one is just awesome. It should be since I spent all day making it and the next day coding it. I named it after the song Wait for You by Elliot Yamin. I can't believe all the comments that I've gotten over it. Anyways, my affie check is complete. I removed all the ones that didn't have me linked except the ones that said they would in their next update. So..Robin Hood, this show that I've been watching on BBC America, has literally got me hooked. My mom got mad at me because I was multitasking with being on the computer and watching the series finale at the same time. The series finale was messed up. I'll just leave it at that. Lol. Also, want to see my new love?

Cute, eh? He plays a guy named Will on Robin Hood. His actor name, however, is Harry Lloyd. That shocked me. I expected his name to be like Damien or something but no..I was wrong. I stare at him everytime he's in the scene. Don't get me wrong. Robin Hood is cute too. Obsessed, much? But, don't worry James and Oliver, I'll just have three loves. AHHH! Now, I'm starting to scare myself. I blame it all on my host though. Lol. It's her fault I started watching the show. Heh, just kidding. Also, my brother's birthday is tomorrow. He's turning 24! Well, tootles.
| Hey! New layout! I know I change a lot, but I get random inspiration. Anyways, I'm doing free advertising now! How awesome is that? I will also be performing an affie check. I have way too many. So, I'll contact each one over the next week. On another note, who has the Half Blood Prince trailer? I haven't. I want too but I have dial up. It's so slow. I know, right? I got approved for a Federal Pell Grant for college. So, that is good. I'm really tired right now. I hardly get any sleep. I have no idea why. I've also been getting a lot of review requests. | I finally got my FTP password from my host. So, all my new affies are added and all my gifts are added as well. I changed the links of some and removed the closed sites. Zimrahil finished Dez's review I'm currently working on Krysta's and then off to Kaitlyn's. Zim is working on Mara's since she finally got her site back up. On another note, I'm actually excited about school starting back. I need time away from this house. Lol. It's getting stuffy in this space. Has anyone ever watched Robin Hood? My host told me to watch it. It would make more sense if I had started watching it from the beginning of the series. However, all the guys have british accents and Robin Hood is really cute. So is this character named Will..he's adorable. I don't know what it is with me and british accents..and scottish, can't forget scottish. James and Oliver Phelps are awesome as well as Billy Boyd. People tell me I have a southern drawl, but I don't see it. Oh well. I went dancing Friday. It was ok..just a lot of drama. My best friend made this boy cry because she broke up with him. So, he vented to me and told me all about how he felt. That was interesting. Well, I better end this before I go on and on. Tootles.
| Hi! I'm starting college soon so I made this layout to last for when I'm busy. I'm probally not going to change it for awhile. I have to get ready for school and all that. I have new affies! Check them out. I also added 1 uncoded layout featuring Meaghan Martin, who plays Tess in Camp Rock. Jessica added a tutorial on Advanced Icons using Photoshop. She's writing her introduction blog but it isn't ready yet. She's also working on a blending tutorial using Photoshop. Also, I finished some reviews. In case you're wondering what kind of reviewer Zim is, she's harsher. I tend to notice little things about site, but I'm not too mean about. She's just a bit harsher. On another note, my brother's fiance got her nose pierced yesterday. My mom actually asked me if I wanted one. NO! Needles freak me out. Yet, I want a tattoo of a dolpin. How weird is that? Needles are my worst fear, though. Anyways, my life is that facinating right now. I finally finished a chapter of one of my fanfictions. I'm looking for a job. I'm also going dancing this weekend. I plan to tell my ex to go to hell. Should be fun, we'll see how it works out. Lol. Tootles.

He asked me to go to the movies with him and a couple of his friends yesterday. However, I didn't go. It had nothing to do with me being grounded last night. Heh..I'm also going dancing tomorrow. My ex is going to be there. Guess what? He misses me again. He needs to make up his mind because he's getting on my nerves. Anyways, who watches Avatar: the Last Airbender? I have also added a new tutorials on how to make layouts with GIMP. I am also now doing reviews! I thought it'd be fun. I don't know how well I'll do it, but I'd like to try. Apply for a review here! All I can smell right now is the brownies my brother is baking. He's a way better baker than I am. I feel a bit better today. I felt awful the past week. I don't really know what else to blog about. Hmm.. Has anyone ever felt like Cinderella before Prince Charming? I do all the time. My parents make me do all kinds of chores. My mom also got me up at 8AM one day because she was up and claimed it wasn't fair. Parents..got to love them. On another note, I got on Broken Desires today and found a spammer on my cbox. I blocked their IP. It was really sick, what he/she had typed. Don't you just strongly dislike spammers? I don't really see the point of spamming anything. | Ok, new layout in honor of my new staff member! She's going to introduce herself and put her information up soon! I'm working on a new tutorial and how to make a layout like mine. It should be done this week. It will be added along with new layouts! I also have new affies! And I recieved gifts from affies! Thank you! On another note, I've been sick lately. I just don't feel good. I'm hoping it will be better soon. I applied for a job at Target today. I hope I get it. I need the money. Also, I have my schedule of classes. It's going to cost $1,045 just for the classes. Hopefully, my pell grant and federal aide will cover it. :) Who has a parent that just don't trust them? I do! I've never done anything wrong..that they know about. So, why don't they trust me? It's really weird. I guess parents just , naturally, don't trust their children. I'm also excited for the Half Blood Prince to come out. I love Harry Potter. I think it's just awesome. For instance, introducing, DRACO MALFOY!

I'm also excited to see Twilight! I saw Drillbit Taylor the other day. It was amusing..but just that. It was kind of stupid in a way also. What movies do you want to see?
| Just so everyone knows, I have a new staff member. I'll be spending this week getting everything ready for her. She is really cool. I'll have her introduce herself when everything is sorted out. On another note, web designers have the biggest cat fights. I have been involved in one where a good friend mine was insulted. He was insulted by a former staff member. I had to stick up for him. They have fights about everything. Fights from who's the better web designer to more people like me to my dog is fluffier than yours. It's just crazy. I didn't have that many arguements when I was in high school. People try to act so hardcore with the keyboard. It's just interesting to watch it go back and forth and not amount to anything. Anyways, I registered for classes today. I'm taking General Psychology, Sociology, World History, Intermediate College Algebra, and English 102. How fun, right? I start back August 28th. It's not too exciting. I'm trying to figure out who I'd like to see on my next layout. Any ideas?
| I just had to change the layout. I didn't like the last one at all. This is my first image map so be easy on me. Lol. I made a couple of layouts. They should be up tomorrow. I also recieved a gift from Caroline! Thank you! I recieved a staff application today! How awesome is that? The girl who sent it is really talented. So, I'm hoping she'll work out. I have yet to talk to her. Also, I have to register for classes tomorrow! AUGH! I don't want to. I'd rather stay home and sleep in. Who wouldn't right? That's the main reason I can't add the layouts tonight. It's late here, and I have to get up early in the morning. On another note, I have a serious case of writer's block on all of my fictions. I can't think of anything to write. I need some inspiration. Any ideas? Also, who has watched I Love Money on VH1? I think White Boy is going to win. Mostly because he's awesome. | I have new affies! Yay! I have also recieved gifts from affies! Thank you! You have to admit, the under the sea layout lasted longer than most. I like this one. It turned out a lot better than I expected. I'm making some graphics so they should be up either tonight or tomorrow. Anyways, I went to see Hancock yesterday with my brother and his fiance. First of all, I need to get this off my chest. Will Smith is hot! Now that I got that out of the way, it was a pretty good movie. Though I hated the way the camera was handled. There were too many close ups and swirling. On another note, I found the cause of my stress..my step-dad. He always finds some reason to yell at me. Frankly, it's getting a tad annoying. I also just found out that my brother was cheating on his fiance about 2 years ago. She still hasn't let it go. So, if you found out a guy you were with was cheating on you and you gave him a second chance, would you ever let it go? I wouldn't. It's complicated. I do believe in second chances, but I also believe that once cheater, always a cheater.
| HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY! There's a perfectly valid explanation for why I haven't updated. I feel awful. I just want to go lie down right now but I have things to do. I think it's stress related. So, I don't have any graphics for you. Sorry about that. I will have more up next week. Right now, I just don't feel like making anything. On another note, I bought a labtop from my brother's fiance for $50. I just have to get it fixed. How awesome is that? My Fourth of July wasn't very eventful. I just went to my grandma's foor a cook out..no fireworks. I'm not feeling up to fireworks. I hope everyone had fun today though. I've also narrowed down my affiliate search. Sorry about that but I get a lot of requests. I'm now only accepting top affiliates if I request them. I'm just a bit more picky when it comes to regular affiliates. Well, tootles.
| Has anyone ever got so tired of celebrity layouts that they had to change it right then no matter how much they loved the layout? That's what happened to me. I loved the Carrie Underwood layout but I've never had a non-celebrity layout. Do you like my new layout? It features Mermaids and various ocean dwellers. I'm in love with it. I've also added 2 hiatus signs and 2 enter signs. I'll add more later. Anyways, my friend called me today. I haven't talked to her in about a month. Her boyfriend is in Kentucky, attending college. The funny thing is that I was just thinking about calling her when the phone rang. Freaky, right? Then we started joking that I was saving myself for twins. She laughed and said, "No, that's not creepy at all". I just replied, "What's creepy is going up to them and saying: hi, you don't know me but we're going to be married some day and have 20 children". We also have a new inside joke that I can't tell you what it means on this blog for everyone to know. It's "they lied. One size doesn't fit all". You can let your imagination wander wherever it goes but it isn't really bad. Lol. I'm in a good mood, right now. Other than the fact, I almost got grounded today. It's a long story. Well, tootles.

Anyways, I had to mow the backyard today. Our backyard is really big. I even got a blister on my hand. It was awful. On another note, who has watched I Love the New Millenium? I love that show. It's hilarious. But I have no idea who Michael Ian Black is. If someone could let me know, I'd appreciate it. He says he's famous. Oh well. I'm seriously tired right now. I could just crawl under a rock right now. I can't even write my latest post for my fan fiction because I can't think of anything. My brain is like mush right now. I just got done watching the Spiderwick Chronicles. It was a pretty good movie. So was 10,000 B.C. I was just disappointed that the Sabortooth Tiger wasn't in it more. Well, tootles.
| Come on, you all know it's because I don't have a life. Lol. Actually, the real reason that I keep making layouts is because I love it. I love giving my site a new look every week. This layout was inspired by the song Call Me When You're Sober by Evanescence. I love that song. The video was awesome too. Anyways, my best guy friend is getting married. Who saw it coming? I sure didn't. He shocked me when he told me. He never struck me as the marrying type. On another note, my friend and I are starting over on our fiction, What Was and What Should Always Be, and making it longer..more descriptive. That's a dangerous zone..you know..to be more descriptive. Atleast it is for me. I am NOT looking forward to scheduling for college classes for my second year. I have to retake Math. Math is my worst subject and there is no changing that. I loved Creative Writing back in high school It might of just been my class though. My class was AWESOME. I always had a good time upon entering that class. It was nothing bad. Heh. We just knew how to have fun or atleast, they knew how to make me laugh. Some of the people in it creeped me out though. I'm not going to get into all that. Heh, tootles.

I'd also like to point out that if you request affiliation, don't back out on it for no reason. If you didn't want to be affies, why did you request it? It makes no sense to me. | I coded 2 layouts. So, they're up right now. They feature Ashley Tisdale. I was going through the visitor content the other day and realized that I need to make more signs. I have a total of one enter sign and one hiatus sign. That's a bit sad. So, I'll work on those over the next few weeks. On another note, one of my dogs, I have 15, got his head stuck in the fence today. He was trying to get out. Since he has a big head, he didn't. But, luckily, I was able to break the wire and save him. YAY! Another one of my dogs has an upset stomach so he's staying in my room while I baby him. My mom says I should be a vet assistant. I don't really want to even go near that career. I want to be a marriage counselor. I have no idea why. I just do. I have to register for college classes July 8. I haven't taken History yet. I think they're trying to kill me, seriously. I hate going outside and they know it. It's summer and I don't like summer. Well, anyways, Camp Rock was a good movie. I saw Joe Jonas shirtless. Anyways, today, I went with Quita, my soon to be sister-in-law, to pick out a dress. She's going to get married at the court house. I'm going to act as a witness. How fun, right? Well, it was a fun day. Tonight, I'm watching Camp Rock! I'm so excited! The Jonas Brothers..'sigh'..gotta love them. My favorite is Nick. I think he's so cute. On Monday, I'm watcing the New Millenium on VH1. I love those shows. Also, who else wants to see Wall-E? I think it'll be an adorable movie. I'm still looking for staff. So far, no one has applied. Come on, I'm not that picky. You just have to know something about either tutorials, resources, making layouts, or coding. Just know something. Lol. Well, tootles.
| I know what you're thinking. Does this girl have a life? I'll answer you're question with one simple word: barely. What life I do have, it's messed up. My best friend is having another pregnancy scare. That's upsetting. That's all I'm going to comment on that subject. On another note, yesterday, I had a strong feeling that one of my friends was insulting me. She was saying all this stuff about how she's good at this and that. She made a couple of comments that nearly had me cussing. But, being the AWESOME person that I am, I didn't lose my calm. I'm just not particulary and fan of hers right now. It worked out ok in the end. We stopped arguing, partially. Another one of my friends, this one girl in particular, is worse than the other one. She means to insult me. Her excuse is that she just wants to be honest. Right, ok. She's just lucky I'm not honest since I don't want to hurt anybody's feelings. I did hurt her feelings once but she got offended so I apologized. I just don't know where I get these friends. Anyways, the reason I'm updating today, is to make a point clear.

On another note, have you ever been paranoid to the extent where you think people are generally ignoring you? If someone doesn't talk to me when I sign on MSN, I get really paranoid. But I've had bad experiences with messengers. I think they're evil! No, not really but still..not good. I don't like it when people don't write to me if I'm online unless I don't want to talk. I can't help it. On another note, friends..did you ever have a friend that was so different from you that you started to wonder why you were even friends? Or friends that made you so mad, you just wanted to tell them to leave you alone? Yet, you still remain friends with them? One of my friends is the complete opposite of me. We have absolutely NOTHING in common. I'm still her friend, though. No one seems to get that. I don't drop someone because they are different from me or they piss me off. Sometimes, we have good conversations. It just all depends. Well, tootles.

Edited to add: Did anyone realize that it was Broken Desire's 3rd year anniversary yesterday? It didn't even cross my mind. Well, I did make a new layout yesterday. I still haven't talked to Jimmy Joe, which is really a good thing. I need a break from him. I had to get up at 8AM to help my mom out in the yard. I wouldn't of made it without coffee. I barely made it with coffee. I just found out the my brother, Josh, and Quita, his fiance, are planning to get married at the Court House on Wendsday. I only found out about this because Quita wrote it on the calender. Apparently, that's her way of telling us. Sooo, SURPRISE! Well, that's it for now. Tootles.
| Alice gave me a gift! Awesome! Thank you! I don't have any graphics to add. I just thought I'd blog. I had to watch my niece, Makenzie, for about two hours today. It was going good until she started to scream bloody murder. She's only three months old so I had no idea what was wrong. So, then my brother and his fiance came home. It turns out that she just wanted her mom. However, now, I have a headache from her screaming in my ear. My sister, brother, and I are completely different in some aspects. They're good with kids. I try to be good with kids. Also, I have to take a lot of basics in college for my major, Psychology. I'm not looking forward to that at all. I'm not a school lover. Anyways, anyone who knows me, knows that I am obsessed with James and Oliver Phelps. I would die if I met them. Though, I'm not obsessive crazy. I wouldn't attack them, scream at them, or anything of that nature. Believe it or not, I'd act very natural with them. It doesn't help my obsession that there are so many adorable pictures of them. So, I thought I'd show you all one.
